Perhaps you have a few questions about what to expect on a typical Sunday at Dell. Well, we've compiled a list of the most common questions and answered them to give you a better idea of just what to expect on a typical Sunday at Dell.
With a generous mix of both contemporary worship songs and the classic hymn, we sing together a contemporary set of worship to gather, switching to a classic hymn for both the gift giving and the closing.
One word: casual. "Dellites" (as we are so lovingly called) dress casual and comfortable for our Sunday service.
From start to finish our entire service last around a hour and fifteen minutes. With a very informal feel, our structure looks something like this:
Childcare is made available during sermon time for children three years old and younger. This in no way is mandatory, we love the little sounds children make, but in some cases, when parents would like a distraction free sermon, we are happy to offer them that opportunity. You can bring your child(ren) back to The Family Ministry Center, located in the back of the church, while we take up offering and pick them back up once the service is finished.
We do use a retractable screen for worship lyrics, announcements, and to display the Bible verses that Pastor Joe is using during his sermons, but we do encourage the use of electronic Bibles for personal use as well. Or, if you're a little more traditional, we love to see those paperback Bibles make an appearance.
Our sanctuary is handicap accessible with comfortable padded chairs that lock together in rows. Under the chairs you will find a hymnal and Bible for your convenience and use.
Our greatest desire is that you have an excellent opportunity to join with us to worship God in His house, to encounter Him in worship and word, while getting to know fellow believers on the same path of faith with you. Join us!
