Christopher Parker lives in Elmore, MN with his wife Brittany, and their five children. Their oldest, Cammie (13), is the only girl in the family and loves to craft and take care of animals. Next come 4 boys… one right after the other! Jadon (12), Joshua (10), Josiah (8), and Charles (6) keep everyone busy with all the energy that boys bring to a family.
Together, they love family game nights, watching musicals, going to state parks, and enjoying a night around the campfire. Chris plays electric and acoustic guitar along with piano/keyboard. Both husband and wife write songs that God puts in their hearts. He plays them while she sings them. It’s no surprise that Christopher and Brittany’s favorite date is a trip to the music store where they dream, plan and sometimes even take home an instrument. Christopher has always had a love for learning and teaching. He originally pursued a degree intending to become a history teacher. God has a way of changing our plans though and soon his passion was redirected towards ministry. Throughout the years of raising a family and working hard to make ends meet, Christopher has been steadily working his way through school and will receive a Bachelor of Divinity from Christian Leaders Institute this fall! His passion for ministry and talent for teaching, combined with all those “dad jokes” he won’t quit telling, make him a great youth director! Christopher has spent much of the last 10 years working in youth and worship ministry and feels honored to be a part of the work that God is doing at Dell Lutheran Church. He is excited to call Dell home and continually prays for each of the kids God puts in his path.
